Pine River Monitoring Project Application to Chemistry and Physics Standards

Measure the relationship between DO and temperature in a stream.  Also, 24 hour DO measurements are important in the assessment of stream health as impacted streams will not exhibit fluctuations in DO as will unimpacted streams. 

Explain if the streams are acidic or basic and how that would affect the organisms in the stream.
